Useful reviews describe a real experience, explain what happened, and give other people enough context to make their own decision.
Write from your own experience
Identify the correct business and the approximate experience date. Explain the product, food, or service you experienced. You may describe a genuine inquiry or attempted transaction; a purchase is not always necessary. Separate facts you can support from your opinions.
Use the right feather rating
Orange feathers describe food or products. Blue feathers describe service. Rate only the aspects you experienced. Checkout impressions are not a substitute for a review of a product you have not received or used.
Keep personal information private
Do not post account numbers, payment details, identity documents, private addresses, private contact details, medical records, or information that identifies another person unnecessarily. Do not upload receipts into a public review. If evidence is requested, use the private process Tayeti provides.
Relationships and incentives
Do not review your own business or a business you work for, represent, or compete with. Do not submit reviews in exchange for payment, discounts, gifts, or a promised favorable outcome. Businesses may invite honest feedback without selecting only satisfied customers.
Content we do not accept
Fabricated experiences, impersonation, threats, harassment, discriminatory abuse, spam, unrelated promotion, duplicate ratings of the same experience, and content you have no right to share are not permitted. Assistance with spelling must not invent or change the experience.
Updates and disagreements
Update your original review when circumstances change. A business may respond or dispute a possible policy violation, but disagreement alone is not a reason for removal. A refund or remedy must not be conditional on a positive rating or deletion.
Reporting a concern
Use Contact & help to identify the review and the relevant concern. Explain the issue without publishing sensitive evidence. See Moderation & appeals for the proposed review process.
